Adventures in Encaustic: Photo Encaustic is a 1-day workshop offered April 13-14 (10am -4pm) where you’ll be introduced to the wonders of photo encaustic art. We’ll explore the basics of what need to know to incorporate original photography into your encaustic practice.  Though the Intro to Encaustic is not a strict pre-requisite, it is STRONGLY encouraged.

I’ll ask you to forward me the images that you will be working with and will have them printed out for your use when you arrive. Adding photography into your encaustic work is a possibility that proves to be endlessly fascinating within the medium.

We’ll begin with a chat session, including some munchies. Lunch will also be provided.

I’ll be in touch the week before the workshop with the class itinerary and instructions.
