The Basics: Intro to Encaustic is a 2-day workshop, April 5-6, 2025 (Noon-4pm), where you’ll be introduced to the wonders of encaustic painting. We’ll delve into the specifics of how to create both smooth and textured surfaces and if time permits, we’ll also try including collage materials. This class is for the person who wants to learn the basics (or brush up on skills) of encaustic practice or add it to their repertoire of skills.

Adventures in Encaustic: The Basics class is a requirement for this class.

Each day, we’ll begin with a chat session, including some munchies. Lunch will not be provided; please feel free to pack your own if you wish.
